Erik Simins
Writing and singing music since the tender age of 10 years old Toronto singer songwriter Erik Simins released his debut album “Please do not disturb”. A mixture of smooth sonically adept mixes, slick alive beats creating a unique highbred of R&B, pop and folk. Influenced heavily by the great talents of James Ingram, Earth Wind and Fire, Hall & Oates, Eric Clapton, James Taylor and Prince saw Erik quickly added to FM radio globally

Erik has toured through Europe and was asked to perform live on the legendary Carnaby St., London, England where a week prior both John Legend and Kanye West blessed the stage showing the calibre of his appearances

Sunny Neji
Sunny’s career has spanned over two decades beginning in 1991 with the release of his debut album ‘Captain’ on EMI. He then joined ‘Colours Band’ who he performed with as the lead singer for five years. ’97 was the release of ‘Mr. Fantastik’, the album sold over 5 million in Nigeria alone and won many key awards for the artist.

The singer and songwriter, who has been described by many as simply ‘extraordinary’ hit the music industry with his third album titled ‘Roforofo’ it dropped in October 2000 on the same label, the album sold over 200,000 copies on the first week of release alone and occupied the number 1 spot on major charts! It went on to sell 5.5million copies.

Sunny’s golden voice won the award for Best Artiste from West Africa in 2005 an incredible achievement! He breaks all language and communication barriers, with his uncommon eclectic musicality inspired by his influences; Marvin Gaye, Barry White, Kenny Rogers, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder and many others who are icons of evergreen music.

’Off Da Hook’ a timeless masterpiece was released in 2006 several years in the making. A listen to the album will tell you that it is the work of a perfectionist an eternal signature for Sunny Neji. This is the start of the beginning and the sky is his starting point.

De-Indispensables
The best way to describe Africa’s hottest urban act is a unique fusion of Hip-Hop and R&B. They burst onto the scene in 2004, have enjoyed phenomenal chart success in Africa and performed alongside stars such as Wayne Wonder, Akon, Beenie Man, a Mobo, the award winning rapper & DJ Phoebe One and Pyrelli.

Lenny B, a soul singer, and poetic rapper TL formed DE INDISPENSABLES three years ago after beating off 300 other hopefuls to win an X Factor style competition and a recording contract with independent Grafton Records.

They are currently number one on the MTV BASE Africa chart with their track “Peace Song” featuring another artist from the Grafton Records stable known as Mtrill. Their current single, ‘I Love You’ is a love song that draws on the duo’s real life experiences and is taken from the group’s new album, ‘Press On Part Two’. With its mid tempo beats and a catchy chorus, this track is set to become one of this winters love anthems. The duo have been touring in the United Kingdom and have completed the video shoot for the single ‘I Love You’ The single has been predicted to be the song that will put Africa at the top of the mainstream of Music!
Blackface
Blackface born Augustine Ahemdu in Obalende, in the city of Lagos, Nigeria in the 70s. A principal founding member of the defunct multi-platinum selling act Plantashun Boiz, a dynamic RnB/Hip Hop group that changed the face of the Nigerian music scene in the late 90s.

Due to his urging quest to explore his deep artistic cravings, he released his first exclusive solo Album titled "Ghetto Child" in 2004, a compilation of hard hitting political rebuttal Dance-Hall music style, laced with deep African percussions & dictions, proving his dexterity in terms of creativity and his direct influences in numerous sounds. His inspiration comes from great civil rights activist such as Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Bones Hammond, Sizzla Kolongi, Nas & 2pac.

His latest album titled Evergreen is the first chapter of a three-part instalment project. The lead single off it titled "Ahead of da Game", a Dancehall/Hip Hop laced with pidgin english and local slang expressions, presently is getting mad rotation on major television stations in Africa, MTV Base, Channel O etc.
